ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Please read through all the information below before booking your place to ensure that the meetings run smoothly.
TICKETS
Please only book tickets you will use so someone else doesn’t miss out, and please cancel your ticket if you know you will no longer be able to attend.
Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis, and they need to be reserved by the end of the Thursday prior to the service to allow our team to set up the auditorium. If the event is full when you come to book your tickets, it will be possible to register on a waiting list, which would result in a waiting list ticket being issued. In the event of someone cancelling their ticket, it may be possible to turn your waiting list ticket into a full ticket – please only attend if you have been notified of that.
You do not need to print your ticket if you are able to display it on a smartphone, but everyone must have a valid ticket to attend the meeting.
ARRIVAL
When you arrive, the Hosting Team will check you in, and direct you to your seats.
Please bear in mind that parking is no longer available directly in front of King’s Centre, and unfortunately we are unable to offer any reserved parking. Please click here for more information and directions to the nearest car park.
HYGIENE
All surfaces will have been sanitised before the meeting, but, in theory, the only surface you will need to come into contact with is your seat – there will be no news sheet, offering baskets or anything else handed out.
Communion will be prepared and distributed in a hygienic way in accordance with strict protocols.
There will be no water points or refreshments available so please bring your own water bottle if necessary and take it home with you after the service. Please do not bring food to King’s Sunday Live.
The toilets will be available to use, but only for emergencies.
Of course if you are ill, please do not come to church.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
Please try to limit interaction with people outside of your household and continue to observe appropriate social distancing when moving around the venue. We will be using a one-way system for moving around the building – please follow the guidelines at all times
FAMILIES
If these meetings work successfully, we will look to phase in a limited children’s and youth work in due course.
WORSHIP & PRAYER
We will make space for prayer. Of course, we won’t be calling people forward or laying hands on people like we usually do. Instead, you’ll be the ministry team! You’ll get to pray for yourself and encounter God and be filled with the Spirit where you are.
LEAVING AFTER THE SERVICE
COVID-19 SYMPTOMS
VULNERABLE PEOPLE
TEST & TRACE
- provides testing for anyone who has symptoms of coronavirus to find out if they have the virus
- gets in touch with anyone who has had a positive test result to help them share information about any close recent contacts they have had
- alerts those contacts, where necessary, and notifies them they need to self-isolate to help stop the spread of the virus
In line with government guidance for places of worship, we will ask if you consent to us using your details to support this scheme. However, you do not have to give your consent, and your booking and attendance at King’s Sunday Live is not dependent on giving consent for this.
If, however, you do decide that you are happy for us to take your details for ‘Test and Trace’ we will keep confirmation of your attendance for 21 days, and assist NHS Test and Trace with requests for that data if needed for contact tracing and the investigation of local outbreaks.
For those who have downloaded the NHS COVID-19 contact tracing app, we will provide a QR code that you can scan.
Find further guidance on maintaining records of staff, customers and visitors to support NHS Test and Trace.
