Serving the nations

Supporting a growing church and two inspiring children’s homes.

Our connections with Nepal began through a couple at King’s who had previously lived in Nepal preparing to translate the Bible into a Tibetan-related language. We now have links with ‘King’s Church Kathmandu’, and we work with two children’s homes, supporting them financially, and sending teams from King’s to serve and bless them. Since the earthquake in April 2015, we’ve been supporting the church as they help local people to recover from the devastation.

South Sudan

Helping to make the Word of God accessible to the people.

In South Sudan, we’re supporting one of our church members, Jackie Marshall Ringer, and her husband, Wes Ringer, who work with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Jackie is the Director of the South Sudan group, overseeing the Bible translation, linguistics, literacy and Scripture use work in this new nation and Wes is the Translation Coordinator and a Translation Consultant for the group.

Demonstrating the love of the Lord to Christians and Muslims.

We’re supporting an amazing family in Pakistan who have been working hard to provide adult literacy programmes for women in the Christian slums around the capital, Islamabad, as well as supplying Christian scriptures to Christian and Muslim bookshops throughout the country. The family have now relocated to Murree where they are serving a Christian school as house parents, while continuing their other ministries.
