GET TO KNOW JESUS
Getting to know Jesus is both a one-time decision and a journey that lasts a lifetime. We believe it’s the best decision you can make.
In the Bible, Romans 10:9 says:
“If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
You can begin your journey of following Jesus today with a simple prayer, like the one below. Read it through, and if you’re happy to pray it, why not find a space on your own, and pray this prayer to God:
“Lord Jesus, I want to know you personally.
I’m sorry for going my own way instead of your way.
Please forgive me.
Today I choose to accept your forgiveness for everything I’ve ever thought, or said, or done wrong.
I receive new life.
Come and take first place in my life, fill me with your Holy Spirit, and make me the person you want me to be.”
