Serving the nations

Beyond our town, we have a heart for reaching out with the love of Jesus, and seeing God’s kingdom come in the nations. Read below to see some of the places we’re serving, or click the button to find out how you can get involved.

Nepal

Supporting a growing church and two inspiring children’s homes.

Our connections with Nepal began through a couple at King’s who had previously lived in Nepal preparing to translate the Bible into a Tibetan-related language. We now have links with ‘King’s Church Kathmandu’, and we work with two children’s homes, supporting them financially, and sending teams from King’s to serve and bless them.

Following the earthquake in April 2015 and during the pandemic in 2020, we’ve been supporting the church as they help local people to recover from the devastation.  In 2021, the King’s Church family generously gave enough money over 2 Gift Days to purchase a plot of land where KCK will be able to permanently and safely continue ministering to and serving the people of Kathmandu.

South Sudan

In South Sudan, we’re supporting one of our church members, Jackie Marshall Ringer, and her husband, Wes Ringer, who work with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Jackie is the Literacy Consultant, plus acting Translation Coordinator and Acting Linguistics Coordinater in this new nation and Wes is the Translation Coordinator and a Translation Consultant for the group.

Middle East

Dan & Monica Brown are members of King’s Church, and are serving Jesus in the Arab Gulf region, Middle East. Please pray for them as they minister in local churches, equip many Christian workers, and seek to be fruitful as ambassadors for Christ in this unique part of the world.
