But what does it really look like to follow him?
How can we experience God, and find authentic community, in the sheer pace and complexity of life? How do we grow in the things that are good for us, leave behind the things that hold us back, and walk in the purposes we were made for?
‘Chapters’ is a one-year journey in three parts, designed to help us live life to the full – the kind of life we were always made to live.

Chapter One is a chance to encounter God and to get to know others. Through small group sessions, story-sharing and experiences, we explore seven rhythms of discipleship: ‘Scripture’, ‘prayer’, ‘power’, ‘worship’, ‘freedom’, ‘generosity’ and ‘reaching out’.
Chapter One runs three times a year, with sign-ups in September, January and after Easter. If you’re new to King’s, start here. And if you’ve been here a while, come and rediscover the adventure of following Jesus.

In Chapter Two, the focus is freedom. God made us for a life of freedom. ‘It was for freedom that Christ set us free’ (Galatians 5:1). But the reality is, we can so often get stuck – stuck in disappointment, in sin, in fear and unforgiveness.
In Chapter Two, we explore things like combating strongholds, managing our emotions and finding freedom from life’s hurts, helping us to live in the freedom Jesus has won for us.
Chapter Two isn’t running this term – but please register your interest below.

Then in Chapter Three, we look at purpose. We are God’s handiwork – his masterpiece – created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10). So what are the ‘good works’ God made us for?
What spiritual gifts, strengths and dreams has he given us? How can we serve God in the places we live – and what works and new assignments might he be calling us into next?
We’re currently re-working Chapter Three – but please register your interest below.
