By 1 January 2023November 11th, 2025No Comments

Wednesday 12 November

Let’s start today by remembering God’s mercy. His mercy towards us is absolutely certain, and it changes everything.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.’

Romans 12: 1-2

Pray for our town:

  • That God would reveal his glory, his transforming power and his salvation here in Wycombe.
  • That people in our town would turn to Jesus.
  • For Christians in Wycombe, whether at King’s or in other churches – that we would have eyes of faith to see what God is doing here, and the courage to join in.
  • For our outreach ministries (King’s Table, Little Stars, Learning English, CAP, Chosen, Youth outreach, Bridge Court outreach) and for those who lead them – that we would see many salvations as a result.
  • For those on our BLESS lists.
  • Pray for Wycombe District Council, Wycombe Hospital or for a school or business in the town.

Pray for Sunday morning:

  • Jen & the band leading worship.
  • Rich H & Elizabeth leading the meeting
  • Ade speaking
  • all those being baptised –Stephen, Bella, Anna, Sue, Kim, Grace, Elena, Alison, Nicky, Malcom, Oge, Steve, Dara and Daniel
  • Matt & Ida and their family
  • all our visitors to encounter Jesus
  • all our Sunday serving teams
  • for the Lord’s joy, power & presence in our meetings

Pray for the ‘middle generation’ (i.e. those too old for young adults and too young for Powerhouse!):

  • For our middle generation at King’s – that they would encounter the Lord again and receive fresh faith and encouragement.
  • That we’d see revival amongst this age group – people asking questions, turning to Jesus, being saved, baptised and set free.
  • That the quiet revival would spread to all generations.
  • That the church would be ready to receive and care for all those the Lord is bringing to us.

Pray for our church family:

Pray for the Lord’s protection over each person, each age group, each group and ministry. For protection from the enemy and his works.
