This morning we’ll be focusing on praying for Sunday morning but also going to take time to pray for our mission partners – Dan & Monica, King’s Church Kathmandu and our Social Action & Outreach Projects in High Wycombe.
Before we pray, let’s focus on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, and through whom all things are possible.
Psalm 55: 1-3
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord. Let us give a loud shout to the Rock who saves us.
Let us come to him and give him thanks. Let us praise him with music and song. The Lord is the great God. He is the greatest King. He rules over all the gods.
- Let’s come to Jesus with, as Psalm says, thanks, praise and joy. You could even shout, as the Psalm says!
- Our Lord is King – the one true God – so spend time giving Him the praise and worship he’s due.
Praying for Sunday Morning
- Seyi & Ida are leading the meetings, Adam will be leading worship, and Rich Horne will be continuing the Life to the Full series & speaking on A Life of Generosity.
- And Worship for Everyone + King’s Kids Family.
- Pray for Exploring Baptism, which will be taking place during the 11am meeting.
Mission Partners
KCK
Pray for:
- KCK Leadership: Wisdom, love, protection, and unity among leaders.
- KCK Members: Good health, spiritual growth, hunger for God’s Word, and deeper trust in Him.
- Provision: For church building loan settlement and to provide more Bibles & audio resources for believers.
- Religious Freedom: Protection for minority believers; no discrimination based on faith.
- Dolpa Childrens’ Home: Protection, provision, and growth for every child at the home.
Dan & Monica
Prayer Requests:-
- For God’s provision for their material needs.
- For the app Dan helped make to enable it to be easier for people across the Gulf to read the New Testament. About to do an ad campaign in another Gulf state – pray it would go well and get the NT into the hands of many locals.
- For Dan supporting / mentoring 3 leaders. Pray for these relationships and for their lives and ministries.
- Monica’s relationships with several open locals; and for her to reconnect with one who believes.
- Peace in the Middle East.
Outreach / Social Action Projects
Pray for Little Stars, King’s Table, Chosen, and Teaching English – all of which have significant cross-cultural elements to them.
Pray for:
- relationships to be built,
- the Gospel shared (eg through Teaching English),
- lives transformed (eg King’s Table),
- people coming into the Kingdom (eg King’s Table coming on Sunday morning)
