Reflection
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he[b] predestined us for adoption to sonship[c] through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9 he[d] made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.
Ephesians Ch 1 vs 3-10.
Pray for Sunday Morning:
- God moving in a miraculous way – Signs and Wonders following the Word.
- Visitors: many to be come and many to be saved
- Rich & Ruth Wainman as they lead the meetings.
- For a powerful and prophetic time of worship, led by Simon Patrick.
- For Ron Lamb as he continues our “In Christ” series in Colossians – Raised In Christ – that he would be filled with power and anointing as he brings challenge, encouragement and God’s word to us.
- Encounters with God in all of the kids and youth ministries.
- Anointing for all who are serving at and involved in Sunday’s meeting and for them to receive a fresh touch of the Holy Spirit. Whether that’s Welcome, Refreshments, Facilities, Production, Kings Kids, to name a few – that they would be blessed as they serve God’s family.
Pray for our Kids & Youth:
- God guards and protects the seeds that have been sown in their lives while at Christian camps (Newday, WEC Warriors & others) this Summer, that they would find good soil in their hearts, and take deep roots.
- Pray that they continue to pursue and grow in their relationship with God.
- For those that might have given their lives to Jesus, that they would grow and be discipled.
- Pray for ongoing change and radical transformation in their lives.
- As they go back to normality, for the young people to know that their security and identity is in God.
- Pray for the leaders who joined our kids & youth, in particular Abi, Andy & Ben as they recover from a busy week last week!
Pray that we would be a People of the Presence:
- For a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Church, equipping all of us to extend the kingdom rule of God into every environment.
- We would see Signs and Wonders amongst us that point people to Jesus.
- For miraculous healing: Think of people you know and love who have any kind of physical, psychological or emotional pain and sickness. Pray that they’d know the presence and comfort of God, and pray with authority for their healing.
- That we’d be People of the Presence: Think of all the places you’ll go today, and the people you’ll interact with. Ask God for opportunities to bring a touch of the kingdom into those places – peace where there’s anxiety, freedom where there’s captivity, truth where there’s confusion, love where there’s apathy and hate.
