Reflection:
‘Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”’ Matthew 9:35-38 Ask
- God, where do I need to have compassion for people?
- Father, where are you sending me to harvest?
- Pray for those who don’t know Jesus to come to know him.
PRAYING FOR SUNDAY MEETINGS
- For Paul as he leads worship,
- For John as he brings God’s word,
- For Ayo and Katie as they lead the meeting,
- For our serving teams and children’s ministries,
- That every new person feels welcome and encounters God.
PRAYING FOR ALPHA
- Pray for those who are signed up already.
- Pray for more sign-ups (we want everyone who is curious about Jesus to have the opportunity to meet him).
- Pray for the team.
- Pray for those in your life who you could invite, pray for softened hearts.
PRAYING FOR OUR LEADERS
- Prayer for our members’ meeting tonight and the leaders of our church.
PRAYING FOR OUR BLESS LISTS
- Pray for those who don’t yet know Jesus.
- Who has God placed alongside you to speak to, pray for and encourage?
- Pray for their lives to be transformed by Jesus.
- This may be a good opportunity for you to revisit your list and consider who you can continually pray for!
