Parenting courses

Time out for parents

If you’re a parent, you’ll know that raising children is a great privilege – but also a huge challenge. At King’s we run a range of courses to help mums and dads have confidence in their parenting, and to build strong relationships.

All courses are run by a qualified and licensed parenting facilitator using Positive Parenting materials produced by Care for the Family. These practical courses are widely used around the country in schools, children’s centres, churches, community groups and prisons.

Our courses are free to attend, but we ask for £10 to cover the cost of the handbook (and either refreshments or postage) if you are able.

Parenting for Faith

Parents and carers are perfectly positioned to help their children meet and know God. But sometimes we struggle to know how to do that.

We highly recommend Parenting for Faith resources for this, and occasionally enable parents to access the online course, which goes through five key tools which can be implemented in any family situation, free of charge.

If you are interested in attending the online course with other parents from King’s Church, please let Claire know on a Sunday morning.
