Reflection
Begin by praising and thanking God using Psalm 100: 1-5:
Shout for joy to the Lord, everyone on earth. Worship the Lord with gladness. Come to him with songs of joy. Know that the Lord is God. He made us, and we belong to him. We are his people. We are the sheep belonging to his flock. Give thanks as you enter the gates of his temple. Give praise as you enter its courtyards. Give thanks to him and praise his name. The Lord is good. His faithful love continues forever. It will last for all time to come.
Praying for Sunday Morning
Nicola and Ade will be leading the meeting, Jen will be leading worship, and its TEN Talks. It’s also Worship For Everyone and King’s Kids Family.
A new Alpha course starting 30th September. Pray for sign ups and Dawn Stokoe as she puts together a team to run course. Pray also for the prayer and fasting night this Friday.
Pray for the forthcoming short-term trip to Nepal and King’s Church Kathmandu.
Nepal Trip
Pray for those going on the trip (8 people in total):
· Give thanks the trip now able to go ahead
· Safe travels – connecting flights made
· Ron & Joy as the lead the team
· Bond quickly as a team – good team spirit
· Practical preparations
· Church would really get behind them and commit to pray for them
Also pray for:
· The teams protection – them, their families, & their health
· God’s covering over the trip
· Their preparation – spiritually, mentally, physically
· This trip would be for them all that God wants it to be
· Prepare the team to do Good works that God has prepared in advance for them to do (Eph 2:10)
· They’d be an encouragement to all the meet, blessing to KCK
King’s Church Kathmandu
Pray for:
· Religious Freedom: Protection for minority believers; no discrimination based on faith.
· KCK Leadership: Wisdom, love, protection, and unity among leaders.
· KCK Believers: Good health, spiritual growth, hunger for God’s Word, and deeper trust in Him.
· Provision: For church building loan settlement and church resources
· Ministries: Saturday service, Sunday School, youth, women’s meetings, and house fellowships to be impactful and fruitful.
· Dolpa Children Home: Protection, provision, and growth for children
· Floods: for the relief effort and God’s comfort and protection on those affected
